My ISTP husband really knows how to be charming and sweet. He came home from work with 2 bunches of tulips for me. It took me the longest time to get him to understand that I prefer them to roses because they last longer, and they're just as pretty... maybe even more enjoyable because they open and close every day.
I mean I like roses, but they've been over-bred or something and the lesser expensive ones don't have any scent, and I don't really need him to prove how much he loves me by spending a boat-load of money on flowers that are going to die in a week.
But not only that, he came back in after getting ready to head out for the evening and said, "Have I told you lately that I love you? And that you make my life brighter just by being in it? And that you're the sunshine of my life? I love you, babe."... or something close to that. I'm an N; I don't remember things exactly. I can't tell you how long it's been since he's said anything that sweet, but I appreciated it. We've been married 26.5 years. I'm going to cherish his words for a long time.
