So we will have yearly apartment inspection next week. I hate living in apartment and the owners just being able to put that note on your door and they are coming in no matter what. I just hate people coming into my private space uninvited.

I also hate that my J husband is going to be freaking out about it because he always thinks the place has to be 100 percent spotless and museum quality for anyone to see it or we are "newsworthy."

Uggh! If your husband gets like I do, that will not be fun to live with at all. Don much prefers living in a pit than dealing with me in hyper cleaning mode.

Well, I suppose I could accept husband's ideas about how uber clean the place needs to be..if he ever got into "hyper cleaning mode" but alas ... lol.

Say what you want, hyper cleaning mode is an awesome thing, especially when it hasn't been utilized in a long time, last Thursday I cleaned out my room, and found crap from the ninties.

HCM is good.

I think if your husband is just stressing out and not helping then you are sweet to let him live.

I had to go through those apartment inspections, too. I absolutely despise them. I sympathize.

Yep. Apartment inspection. And, of course, my landlord puts a note on my door the day before(in fact less than the legally required 24 hours) when he had to have known about it for weeks before. Fortunately, I have low standards and only go so far in cleaning up.

I get so stressed out though. My landlord rarely bothers me, but I'd be happiest if I never saw him at all. He is a nice guy as far as that goes, but my personal space is mine... mine I tell you... grrr!

Thanks for understanding Uber! :) Yes, I hate having my lair invaded by strangers!

Oh Marmalade, I hate when they don't give the minimum time!!

and I pitched such a fit and I mean a FIT two years ago, now they are extra careful not to give me less than 48 hours, which I think is required by our state law, unless there is an emergency. I went to the state page and printed out the law and posted it to my door and said, don't knock, don't come in, you didn't give me the required time! hahaha Oh gosh they tried to initmidate me and guilt me over that but I would not back down. I was tired of their half day notice.

I have horrible problems with physical energy and it hard to be ready sometimes on short notice for people to come in and somedays I am sick with vertigo and nausea and stay in bed and ugh...I hate for people to see me when I am like that. So some notice is appreciated.

Cafe, well, I am a P type so I am too lazy to much more than bitch and moan about it! Seriously though, I know it is a anxiety thing with him, a nervous sort of bitching when he feels stressed. I try to be understanding. *sigh*

Ech.. I hate having strangers come into my house.. even knock on the door.. even make a turn-around in my driveway! I absolutely hate it when the people come to check something in the basement. It's just weird. I hate being disturbed.

LOL, yeah, I never answer my door unless I am expecting someone I know.

I got tired of the UPS guy always making cracks about how many packages I get ( I shop online a lot for everything, including Walgreens and Drugstore.com) so I put a note up saying "if no answer leave package" , sometimes I just being disturbed and then people taking offense because I am not all bubbly and social.
