7. What is your friendships like with both genders? How many good friends do you have and why are you friends with these people? I have good friendships with women, and the same with men. I tend to be more personally "trusting" of my male friends but I am not that untrusting of my female friends. I just wouldn't bother them as likely as I would my male friends.

I guess I have around 7 good "IRL" friends (5 male, 2 female) , and 2 of them are best of buds (both male)

8. What paranoias do you have? Being financially out of control, or losing everything and not having the money to establish my own stability again.

9. What are your vices? Tasty food, aggressive driving

10. What are your fears? Being incapable or incompetent of doing things I really want.

12. How are you with expressing emotion in public? Rarely do it. Emotion is only ever expressed between me and another person, or a small group of good friends. I don't have any emotions for a large group of strangers.

13. How do you think people saw you in high school? How do you think people see you now? Extremely introverted/quiet/standoffish/emotionally neutral/lonely geek (HS). Now I'm more a quiet average-joe who lights up with very off-beat humor when I'm in the mood.

I believe my personal goal is to make this world a better place for future humans, applying whatever talents I have been given and will develop. [Possibly] double major in Physics/Computer science, at least Grad school in one or both, maybe doctorate, I don't know I might not like academia. At least one arts degree in either graphic or web design. And I'm going to school.

7. What is your friendships like with both genders? How many good friends do you have and why are you friends with these people?
I get along with different types of people, my closest friend is male and an INTJ, that's about it aside for my SO. Most of my friends at one point were male, some of these ended up...not awesome, I will spare details, others just drifted. I have about one female friend, she's not uber close, INTJ and about ten years older than I. Why I am friends with them? We clicked inside, meaning our cores as people, for me friendships are deep and take work, it's a balance, I'm not interested in using people just like I am not interested in being used. I think my N is pretty high so I bounce off with some people and it just stays for years. I've learned a lot from friendships, starting with how emotions are not the enemy.

8. What paranoias do you have?
I don't really get paranoid, but I watch the backs of the people I care about along with mine like a hawk. I don't trust people, although I have become more trusting with some things, at any rate, I watch out for my blood yo [not just family].

9. What are your vices?
Lack of sleep and sleep both.

Irrational fears? Possibly moths, but I could face them if I had to, other than that, quite possibly failure along with losing the person I love.

11. What is your relationship like with your parents? siblings (if you had any)?
Dad: INTP/ENTP = not the greatest, but not the worst, we've drifted due to his macho attitude, we used to be closer, he's homophobic, I don't get his need to be always right, we clash a lot lately.
Mom: ESTP/ENTP = it was once the worst of the two, now we just party it up, she's still too emotional for me at times, but she's got issues of her own, I found out I am like her a lot, the good parts of me.
Brother: ISFJ = younger, comes and goes, he was my best friend for a long part of my life, then we seriously drifted and he hurt me physically [not uberly bad], haven't really forgotten that, now we have a decent relationship, he's mellowed out thanks to his gf.

With my family? Fine, I was raised in what outsiders call a "warm household", the discrepancies with gender roles and how things should be leave much to be desired at times, but I can express emotion like affection. Otherwise it's not the greatest, I don't cry in public, I don't really get angry in public either.

13. How do you think people saw you in high school? How do you think people see you now?
From what I have been told: nice, intelligent, smarty-pants, composed and prepared. Now? I don't know, I know people think I am uberly intelligent if they talk to me about things, others think I am extroverted and fun, and others just think I am mysterious and interesting, but I think the nice has stayed there.

A point? That's a limited question, I could go ethical on you but I won't; the point to my life is to live it and die it out as best as I can.

4. What cultural background are you? Chinese and East Indian (my great grandpas on my mom's side were both East Indian, my dad's side is all Chinese) Does that make me 75% Chinese and 25% East Indian?
5. What religion are you? What religion is your family? I'm not religious, probably atheist. My family on my mom's side is mostly Muslim (some have converted to some form of Christianity), although none of us really practice it that much - I used to pray with them a few times a year (when I was younger). I don't know much about the Muslim religion and I don't think they do neither. I'm not sure what religion, if any, are the people on my dad's side. I know some of them are Buddist but I think mostly, my family are more along the lines of non-religious.

I'm currently working as a medical office assistant at a medical clinic but I know I don't want to do that forever. I want to do my own thing, something that I would love doing. 7. What is your friendships like with both genders? I would say I have more male friends than female friends. My best friend is pt and then I would say my best female friend is a female that I've know since grade 8. All my other friends that I would consider friends are male (two other guys that pt and I have known on separately that are now more our mutual friends we hang out with). How many good friends do you have and why are you friends with these people? I guess you can say I have three good male friends and one good female friends. As an introvert who likes my own time, I have a hard time making friends, trusting people and finding the time to spend time with them. I would say that I'm friends with these people because they want to be my friend -they tolerate me and my elaborate ideas and generally non-empathetic ways towards humans. They respect me and accept me for who I am - I don't need to worry about what I say or do around them and for that, I love and respect them the same way. As long as this remains true for them, I will be loyal to them and I would do almost anything for them.
8. What paranoias do you have? I don't know if I have paranoias - maybe a fear of being alone, having no one I can truely trust and confide in, having no one that will be there for me.
9. What are your vices? Sweets - I love dessert, candy, chocolate - the sweeter the better. I would love dessert before and after all my meals and also inbetween. I would be so bitter if I ever became diabetic!

I'm not close to my dad, he abandoned my mom, sister and I when I was about 2-3 years old and he didn't enter my life again until I was about 10 years old - when he and my mom started "seeing each other" again. Then my dad stopped talking to me for about five years and has only recently started talking to me again last year. My mom, I love her but she doesn't understand me and she gives too much to everyone. I don't respect her decisions in life and it's hard for me to relate with her. I know that she wants to do as much for us as possible but I don't like her approach in life. My grandparents(from my mom's side), who raised me, I was relatively close to, but that changed from the way my grandma reacted at my sister's wedding - I will spare you all the details. siblings (if you had any)? I have one sister and she is an ESFP (the complete opposite of me). I love her because she's my sister and she has never tried to hurt me. She's generally quite selfish and I understand her quite well. I also don't respect her decisions in life and the way she deals with life but I guess, if I really felt she needed it, I would be there for her. I'm not sure if it's my personality, but I usually don't know how to express emotion - I generally fake how I think I should react. BUT, when I do get emotional (which only usually happens around my family - they seem to know how to make me tick), then I really lose it and all the negative, unreasonable emotions come out...
13. How do you think people saw you in high school? How do you think people see you now? In high school, I was very shy and quiet. I think most people saw me as the shy, quiet, smart girl that never spoke up - but for some reason, they still knew I existed! Now, I think people see me at work as a competent, reliable and intelligent worker. Outside of that, I think I come accross as cold and "in my own world".

14. What do you see as the point to your life and life in general? I'm still trying to figure that out. I don't know why I'm here and what my purpose is - maybe there is no purpose but that itself is depressing. I feel there has to be a reason to life or why live? Why I want to live and my reason in life will be defined by my life. I'm still young and I know I'm not where I want to be so I won't be happy to die now. My big dream is to create a legacy! I'm not sure how but I will do it....just watch me. I know that I am capable of a lot, I just have to get my confidence/experience level up and I will do it. My INFJ friend claims I am too logical, and my INTJ friend claims I am not nearly logical enough...lol

I'm taking a break and exploring other fields. Right now, Educational Science (with an emphasis on psychology). Perhaps neuropsychology?
7. What is your friendships like with both genders? How many good friends do you have and why are you friends with these people? Almost all my friends are boys. Only very few of my closer friends were girls (three or four tops). Nucleus of three "stronger" friendships, all English speaking (Russian, German, Israeli). Why them? a certain amount of abstraction and analysis? openness?
8. What paranoias do you have? In a car, a constant feeling that some of the drivers around me should not be behind a wheel. I feel like I am gradually becoming insane, or that insanity is looming
9. What are your vices? Procrastination. Not necessarily a vice though.
10. What are your fears? loss of sanity, loss of autonomy
11. What is your relationship like with your parents? siblings (if you had any)? Good and warm, Ti-way though... Mutually and wearily accepting our differences (so far)

13. How do you think people saw you in high school? How do you think people see you now? A relaxed friendly guy, a little bit of a loner though. Rarely teased, usually respected. Can have deep, fun and interesting conversations one day and never voluntarily engage in conversation later. Needs space.

14. What do you see as the point to your life and life in general? No idea. Knowledge accretion and experience are the most consistently rewarding/energizing. No sense of purpose, but a strong and probably warped and illegitimate sense of being "original" and therefore following alternative paths in life. This is not a goal in itself, but a natural tendency not to conform. A Siddartha (Hesse's not Buddha) syndrome of sorts.

I have an AAS in Accounting, but could not find an accounting related job, so I took the first reasonable job I could find when I ran out of savings and needed to pay the bills again, so I just do office work for now. The more I understand about myself, the more I see that Accounting would probably be a poor longterm choice for me, so I may once again go back to school someday and study something more suited to an INF that might lead to a more fulfilling career path but have not put much thought into it aside from thinking it would be a good idea down the road.

7a. What is your friendships like with both genders?
I find I usually have much more in common with females than males, and believe a thinking (or balanced) female is the ideal conversation partner, but it can be hard for me to establish new relationships with females of similar age without a great deal of awkwardness and nervousness (I don't mind being "just friends", but a desire for more than that is often present and can complicate things especially with my natural desire to be emotionally close to others). I have a near complete lack of typical "male interests" like sports, fishing and hunting, so the only males I relate to and befriend are my fellow game and computer geeks, but those make for good friendships on the basis of common interest and I don't have the same desire for emotional attachment with them as I do with female friends (the purpose of the friendship being shared interest rather than meaningful conversation and emotional bonding)

7b. How many good friends do you have and why are you friends with these people?
7 - 1 individual friend and 3 couples that I consider both partners to be friends. In the case of the couples, they are people I have known at least one of them for at least half my life. In the case of the individual, she understands me better than anyone else I know and is one of the wisest and most insightful people I've ever met. I suppose the one thing I would say they all have in common is that I see them all as good hearted people (they may occasionally have values that clash with mine but i know their intentions are good)

8. What paranoias do you have?
Paranoia implies that I am the specific target of the conspiracy and I don't have such feelings, but I do believe with the way things are going, society is drifting closer and closer year by year to a dystopian future.

9. What are your vices?
Sorrow, self-pity and bitterness (usually indulged in privacy so as to not burden others with my woes and regrets). Buying lots of music and books. Escapism through various forms of entertainment and of course my own imagination. And good coffee too - thats practically a necessity of life to me

10. What are your fears?
Abandonment (that does not feel like exactly the right word, but its the fear that a close friend will decide to completely break off or withhold contact with no clear reason for it and thus create that feeling of being unwanted), extreme heights, and dangerous creatures (sharks, bears, venomous things etc)

11. What is your relationship like with your parents? siblings (if you had any)?
Parents - Positive but lacking feeling of closeness
Sister - Positive with unspoken feeling of connection and similarity.

Very rare occurrence, only when its reasonably appropriate to do so without fear of negative judgment or under extreme conditions.

13. How do you think people saw you in high school? How do you think people see you now?
HS - INTj (I was more methodical, organized and less emotional in how I presented myself to others then but still had a strange/quirky/chaotic side that could show up when I became more relaxed around friends)

Now - INTP (I still keep my emotions to myself most of the time, but I'm a lot more relaxed than I used to be). Someone knowledgeable in type theory with careful observation and analysis might actually see the true me and I don't withhold information when asked, but my reserved nature makes me seem less approachable than I am so if someone takes the time to talk to me, they are also a lot more likely to see that I'm not what the rest of the world may see.

To someday find true and lasting love.

Girls are too dramatic and catty. I've actually got closer friends who are females, but I have a lot more male friends - and many of them are fairly close ones too.
8. What paranoias do you have? Not sure... I'm not very paranoid, I guess.
9. What are your vices? Procrastination!!! Avoiding confrontation, avoiding uncomfortable situations...
10. What are your fears? Failure.
11. What is your relationship like with your parents? siblings (if you had any)? We get along, but I'm hardly ever homesick...and they live a +2 hr. plane ride away. I get on fine with my sister too, but she's also +2 hrs away by plane. We get along a lot better now that we don't live together at home than we ever did before.

13. How do you think people saw you in high school? How do you think people see you now? Quite, dorky, way un-cool since I never went out to party. They might have thought I was smart, but they never told me if they did. Now... Still quite, still dorky, most of my friends never go out, so that's not an issue anymore. I know people think I'm smart (probably smarter than I am). Sometimes people really get a kick out of random comments of mine but I'm never really sure why - is it how I say it? is it because it's actually funny? because I'm bitter? I never know.
