A thread about ugly truths becomes a DTrump typing thread. Oh mother, why did you give me life?

Well some of these are truths some are just opinions..
I'm an NF, I believe everything has a certain time and place and certain context to tell, meanwhile I try to see things for what they are, then escaped to the inner world that I have created in my mind to rest for a little bit..
I'm always open to new facts and point of views as long as you can convince/prove them to me, I don't see why people make too much drama trying to win a debate, when someone makes a point I will ask for more details rather than just getting emotional about it, I'm sorry, truth and respecting the rules of discussion is more important than your feelings and your commitment to ignorance, when someone gets too emotional, I get frustrated myself and leave the discussion ..
Oh and I am sometimes accused of telling the ugly truth, or being inconsiderate of others feelings.. Yeah whatever

5. People who feel too much for everything make me nervous.
It's out of control for me.. when someone tells me about their suffering suddenly all the emotions are transferred to me, it's so strong, I had a phase when I felt too much for others that I picture myself in their situation, or feel guilty for not having experienced that myself, it's hard to explain.. and NT can never get it  but I also don't show too much empathy, I only show support that is enough to comfort that person and make them feel better..
I don't like those who are too sensitive or considerate of others or too much into the set of "rules", sorry I'm spontaneous I don't like my words and actions to be taken in other context, just take it easy, don't read too much into it..

^^ this, so I'ld say: its all opinions.

truth is no natural constant, like time or money. Its human made fiction. Truth is the king of a static universe, but such doesnt exist.

I had a professor at college who used to say "your brain is capable to comprehend only 5% of the facts, because those go through so many filters on their way to your brain" that's why I try to form my opinion based on as much evidence and logic as I can, meanwhile I always leave a space for doubts and new evidences and reaching to a mutual understanding with the person I'm discussing the issue with, I also like to open their eyes to facts that might have been forgotten or been oblivious about, let's say I have more of a curious attitude than taking one side in a debate and behave like an attorney..
There are people who ridiculously defend their opinions based on fragile proofs, or maybe these ideas are putting them in a comfortable zone that they don't want get out of, they usually get so emotional and defensive when you try to get them to look more deeply into it..

Imo the reason for such doing lies again in the dynamics. Some of those people make their opinions part of their personality and define themselves thru it. That way opinion becomes truth and those who do not follow the truth will be shot in the backyard. :)

Let me just point out that "ugly truth" is an oxymoron.

There is no such thing as an ugly truth, truth is beauty by necessity.

You want to know why the truth is seen as ugly?

Because it's a lie.

I've edited the OP with a disclaimer. I guess I could've been a little clearer but I thought it would be more fun not to explain fully. What good's a joke if one needs to tell others it's a joke after telling it? Maybe it was a bad joke on my part. Anyway guys don't get too serious.

Donald Trump's outwardly is an ESTP I reckon.

I could actually see ENFJ on Trump after watching him in the convention. Mostly on my possible over analysis of the way he pointed to his wife at one point, which I thought might actually have been a sort of attempt to embody an ideal. A thing people strive to be. That's textbook Ni with Fe to me.

Young Trump seems less like that though. So not sure.

Anyway, I can't think of any ugly truths that I want to say. :p Maybe that predestination is a thing, but I don't mind that and there's no legitimate reason to mind that.

Oh!

1. Everyone in the West has probably supported something they hate at some point.
2. Historically, social advancement comes at a cost in blood in the short term. Whether that's true today I have no idea, but it sort of makes me wonder about what it will take to improve the shitholes of the world.
3. Getting others to reach their potential increases fairness, perhaps, but it would be better to increase the number of slots available to fulfill it. Unless there's already a shortage I guess.

(I'm not sure about the second one.)

I'm having issues with ENFJ males lately. Not all of them, just some of them.

No I get it, that's how I get NFJs to make me sandwiches :coffee: even after I tell them exactly what I'm doing.
It all comes down to : NFJs are adorable dorks.

So that's what my husband has been doing :ng_mad: he asked me to prepare sweet corn to him at the middle of the night, but I refused because I was so tired and really wanted to sleep, I'm still feeling guilty about it  specially when he asekd for a plate of cherries and peaches afterwards, but my son didn't let go of me, so I decided to get him to sleep then come back to my husband, but I was so tired I've fallen asleep immediately..
ENTPs  he's very much similar to your vibe by the way, you're the most ENTP in the forum that have that much similar vibe to him..

I googled fashionable hair pieces and this turned up:

You were right.
Maybe his hairpiece is more traditional, like an ISTJ.

When it comes to men being addicted to gaming, I feel there's a stigma that suggests this somehow isn't possible -- that it's perfectly acceptable to sit around every day gaming for 5+ hours straight, regularly ignoring what's happening in the outside world and not working on any productive activities. And that perhaps a solution is just finding someone who likes to waste their life away just as much as you do, aka enable you. There have even been people who tried to say "Gaming IS a productive activity because this and this and this." The epitome of mansplaining.

Gaming isn't any less of an addiction than spending that much time on your computer doing whatever else would be. And just because it's not necessarily interferring with your job and whatever, doesn't mean it's healthy for you.
