cronological timeline for the story.
Main characters first memory is as a 4 year old looking through a sliding glass door. He's looking out into the world from behind the glass.
As he grows up something happens to him [either over time or one event, I'm not sure yet. Probably the same thing over time that's unnoticable to him] that he isn't so aware of that causes him to lose touch with people. He feels constantly disconnected.
There are times where he does connect very well with people, but he doesn't understand why. It's usually more frequent during the summer, The times he's gone snow boarding, swiming, one random winter [Whenever he's got a transparant barrier in front of his eyes that he has to look through in order to see the world, but he doesn't know this and it wont be mentioned till later in the story, but there will be a few hints given].
Shortly after highschool him and a few friends decided to act like porn directors as a joke and recruit girls to film. He was very successful at it and felt connected, but didn't know why [It was because his costume had Aviator sunglasses]. So, on occasion he'll go out dressed like the porn director and talk to people because it's the only time he feels a connection.
He discovers that it's the glasses. Stops being a porn director and buys a pair of non prescription glasses [even though he's got 20/14 vision]. He's now trying to find a way to connect without using the glasses.
