I have to pick my research topic for my psychology class by september 8th. She told us that we could pick any topic from the book, but i'm having a hell of a time choosing one. MBTI is mentioned in the book, however the research paper only has to be 4 pages long, and i think i could write 20 pages on mbti, and the professor said that it has to be a very specific topic, so i don't think she would approve my topic, unless it's something more specific. I suppose i need to figure out an aspect of MBTI that i would like to research. i hate writing research papers.

I am also still working on my 10 page paper on "what motivates me". I still think it's a stupid topic, and i'm still not convinced i can write 10 pages about it.

I also have a pile of take home exams for history, and a paper to write. I also haven't picked my topic for history, but i think i'm going to write about the Salem Witch Trials or possibly about Cortez overthrowing the Aztec empire.

Anyway. I'm done with group therapy and have completed most of my 12 step program. My next step is to change my body in a healthy way. I'm not sure how i'm going to fit dieting and exercise in with my busy schedule, but i'm going to try. I'm going grocery shopping tonight, and i plan on buying very healthy food, so hopefully i can start my new diet plan tomorrow.

Alright back to studying.

The closer I got to the wire, the more clear my thoughts were and then at some point thinking just took the driver's seat and I'd finally know what to do and just do it. I suspect same will happen for you.

TEN PAGES on what motivates you? What class is that one for? That seems excessive. A LOT excessive.

How about MBTI as related to job appropriateness/compatibility?

It's for psychology! the professor is insane. We also have to give an oral presentation about the paper. I don't want everyone to know what motivates me!

and that is an excellent idea.

Oh, good!

And this is a lower level psych class? I wouldn't expect to have to write 10 pages on anything until grad school. Dang!

apparently she thinks writing a 10 page paper is appropriate for that subject. I think its odd that she wants our research paper to be only 4 pages, but wants some motivation speech to be 10. I could write a much longer research paper.
