Although our psychopathology is pushed out of consciousness, there is an even stronger unconscious need to express our psychopathology by acting out. In other words we show, but not tell, our psychopathology.
We do have opportunities to act out, particularly in authoritarian institutions, in personal relations, but the right royal road to acting out is our sexuality.
Our sexuality is the right royal road to acting out our psychopathology because it is almost entirely unconscious, and during sexual arousal our unconscious takes the opportunity to show us how it has been hurt and humiliated by hurting and humiliating our partners.
