It's too bad it's red & white & not red & black... black looks so much better with red, IMO. If possible, maybe do ALL red - red shoes, red jewelery. That's so modern

.
I don't know how formal this thing is, but I'm liking this red denim dress... I think a white leather or even denim jacket over it could be cool (if it's in the evening & gets cool), and white ankle boots will work as well as black.
I like the tulip dresses Zara sells. They create a curvy silhouette, but they are admittedly very "little girly" still.
I like this one from Zara too... You're thin, but shapely, right? Loose clothes can actually make you seem more "frail", so fitted might be the way to go. I personally tend to like structure & sleekness for red dresses, with exceptions of course. 90s minimalism is a good way to go with red.
If you have time, you can head to a thrift shop & buy a frumpy 80s dress & then hem it
That's not what this is, probably, but it looks like one I did a few years ago:
If you're going to do cute, flared skirt, I like something more 70s/90s than 50s (which is sooo played out & looks too housewifey much of the time, IMO).
This has white polka dots too, but isn't too "little girl"... to me anyway.
That's not to say a retro 50s silhouette can't be cool. This girl reminds me of Rooney Mara... there's something still kind of minimalistic & sleek about it so it's not too cutesy:
More flared skirt styles:
lace
cutout
I like all of these looks, except the 2nd to last:
I like how this is two shades of red:
And finally.... red dress + sheer red tights

Too risky?
Okay, I'm having too much fun
