Old Friends & Facebook

You know, I'm really liking Facebook.

The other day, I was searching Facebook for people I went to high school with and came across a gal who I was in chorus with. She's one of the few people who I ever hung out with. Like me, she sings and plays guitar and writes songs.

Well, it turns out she was performing somewhere Friday night and invited me to come see her, so I did! And I'm so glad I went. Because frankly, Friday was a lousy day. It was all I could do to get myself out of the house.

Anyway, after music practice, I went straight over to where she was playing to catch the last hour of her act. I brought my guitar in because it was cold outside and it's not good for the guitar to leave it in the cold... and we were in a city, too, so I didn't want it stolen.

Anyway, that was significant because she was having other musicians go up and jam with her, so it was good that I had my guitar with me. We did a few songs together. She's an awesome musician... great command of the guitar... much better than I. I loved her performance. It was so great to see her and hear her again. Probably an E... probably N... not sure about the rest. I had forgotten how much I loved her.

I saw her again last night. She sent me a facebook message letting me know I should bring my guitar and we could jam a little.

Since she works for a school system, I thought perhaps she might be familiar with her Myers-Briggs. She's an ISFP... so I was way off. And of course, being an ISFP, proceeded to explain to me how versatile she is in every situation. That cinched it.
