Electronic music: downtempo, IDM, ambient...I'm thinking Aphex Twin.
I cannot imagine that I'd voluntarily listen to that sort of music no matter what my type was

I guess what I am trying to hit at, is that my personal experience with NT's is that they are actually sweet, candy filled nice people with a very nasty shell on the outside.
Oddly enough, I'll likely be seeing them when my INxJ friend comes into town the weekend after this one. Haven't the faintest idea what to expect. The Weakerthans
Curious that many people think of 80s electronic music for us. Oddly, I like quite a bit of this music range...I cannot imagine that I'd voluntarily listen to that sort of music no matter what my type was![]()
One to avoid for the more 'sensitive' NT
Always on my Mind ~ Pet Shop Boys (Yes I do prefer it to the Elvis version)
When you're young you find inspiration
In anyone who's ever gone
And opened up a closing door
She said: we were never feeling bored
cause we were never being boring
We had too much time to find for ourselves
And we were never being boring
We dressed up and fought, then thought: make amends
And we were never holding back or worried that
Time would come to an end
The soundtrack from the original Metroid game. I'm lazy...
So what type do you think might like Big Black? ... and I guess Shellac, Rapeman et al.

I hope it's not only INTPs who like Tool. They're excellent musicians. They're a wee bit angst ridden and angry, but that's forgivable in view of contemporary culture.
Aphex Twin ROCKS!![]()
