Even if this is all true, my question is really why aren't they more prominent in movies, especially as heroes, or as music stars or even as a recurring member in TV shows. In fact, the main reason why I made this thread was that I recently watched a movie called Crush, where the main villain was an obsessive 2. That in turn reminded me of Roommate and Single White Female, which again, had an obsessive roommate as the main villain. There's also Obsessed and Misery, which again has the crazy 2 as the main antagonist. All I really want is to see more heroic 2's and have some diversity in their lineup other than obsessed villains. About the most heroic 2 I've seen in movies would be Hagrid from Harry Potter and that's pretty much it, not to mention he's more of a side character than anything.
1) you can't type Jesus
8s, 7s and 4s do things that are bad ass, 2s usually don't. it's as simple as that.
Watch me: Jesus was a 2.
8s, 7s and 4s do things that are bad ass, 2s usually don't. it's as simple as that. movies want characters who are shocking and attention grabbing
PS: which leads me to my question, what happened to all the 8s in movies? there were a ton of them up until the turn of the millenium, now almost everyone is movies is a 6 of some sort
Sarah Palin is probably my favorite person of my type.
Just because 2s don't tend - tend - to enjoy doing traditionally "badass" things*, that doesn't mean they are somehow inferior. I don't think that was what you were implying, but it did end up sounding kinda like that... I generally dislike "one-upmanship contests" between types - it kinda misses the point of personality typology.
Also, does your question refer to a specific genre, like action movies? Because I think Sixes have been used as protagonists for quite a while - they come in handy, so to speak, when the topic being explored is social issues or the anxieties of contemporary life. (No offence intended, Sixes.)
* Police officers being one of the most notable exceptions. SFJs are attracted to that profession more than other types.![]()
The sophistication of your analysis has me in awe.
I think you can type Jesus, at least as he is presented to us.
Was he a 2, though? He seemed a little too front-and-center to be a 2 if you ask me. Aren't 2s more interested in being power behind the throne?
you are correct, it wasn't my point to say that 2s are inferior (I usually don't like them, but inferior is not the right word). however, lets face it, the adventures of an 8 cp 6 or 4 are usually going to be much more exciting and sell more tickets. my arguments were strictly business related in regards to the movie industry
Yes.
His mission wasn't to be in power or on a throne. It was to help people. Him coming into popularity during his lifetime was a consequence of that. Similar to Mother Theresa.
