I've been seeing this picture from the future floating around the internet lately:
On the one hand, I like the idea of someone who traveled into the future and then tried to depict it with a painting when he returned to his own time. On the other hand, the painting is too generalized to be meaningful (i.e., it's fake).
But I'm a futurist, so I enjoy playing with the idea that it is real.
The story is here (among many other places): The Future of humanity according to a man who fell into a coma and traveled to the year 3906
There is also a book online that he allegedly wrote. I've read part of it. I found it to be rather boring.
