Lets Share a Dwarf Fortress

In the spirit of the Boatmurdered saga (which doubles as a good introduction/tutorial to the game), would anyone on here be interested in running a Dwarf Fortress for a year, posting a log of landmark events and achievements in this thread, then handing the save file off to someone else to do the same?

As of December a new update to the game was posted. It's freeware.
