Lately, I've found myself laughing while watching South Park, stand-up shows, Reno 911, and just now, Mad TV!

I used to laugh at television about once every year or two. I've always thought that 98% of all comedy was completely useless and not funny at all.

Now, I laugh at Mad TV? The dumbest show on the planet? I have changed.

I laugh at other things more often, too. Sometimes I laugh at silence.

You'd think this would mean that I'm happier, but this isn't even true. I'm just more fresh.

fyi, Mad TV is not the dumbest, nor the unfunniest show on the planet by a longshot. Once you start laughing at Family Guy or According to Jim, that's when you know there's something terribly, terribly wrong.

I do think we just loosen up a lot as we get older, too. Maybe a matter of realizing that the things we like, laugh at, buy, etc. aren't the only pieces to our identities, nor the only avenue for approval. *shrugs*
