I worked on my room for 4 hours today.
I had a friend come over to spend the day with me... Roger the blind ESTJ drummer/computer guy... and he kept me busy with conversation and company while I cleaned my room. I would have quit after about an hour, if it wasn't for him. And he's coming over tomorrow, too!
I'm posting "before" pictures... though I've already done some of the work. Eventually, it's going to be really pretty in here, and I want to have pictures to show my progress.
Pic #1 - I spent 4 hours cleaning my room today. Visually, I seemed to make very little progress, but I actually worked almost continually, with very little side-tracking. It just goes to show how sifting through piles and piles of papers can be so tedious.
Pic #2 - These boxes were Xander's idea. Instead of leaving the room every time I come across something that belongs in another room, I have a box designated for different rooms or areas in the house where stuff belongs and put it in there for getting put away later.
Pic #3 - Throw Away, Give Away, Recycling Paper
Once again, my desk is over-run with papers and stuff.
