You didn't read the entire thing. I ended by talking about the topic of socks. Please look again. Also consider the fact that if I digressed then that is an intuitive communication style. It's something I normally try to contain and get control over because everybody calls me on this and that as if I was being graded on a doctoral thesis.
How old are you?
I think you get called on it because Ne is supposed to be free and playful and fun! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! And instead you have Ne chained and shackled like blueberries in the pineapple kingdom of death.
Si is playful not controlling. Si is linked to perception with its playful nature, whereas T and F functions are linking to judging with its more serious nature.
Don't blame me if you didn't do your homework.
si? playful? hardly.
si is what i use to finally balance my checkbook and make sure that i sent a card to grandma because it's her birthday. it's not my go-to gal for getting cray cray with the crayolas.
I will relinquish only part of my point. "Playful" is more of an Intuitive nature. A better word in general for the S/N functions is "spontaneous." It could be a serious spontaneity, not a playful one. So I fully admit to not having kept my Ne nature in check here either.
I do rather think that the common notion of the Si around here is quite mistaken. And that it has utterly nothing to do with the act of balancing a checkbook, insofar as this involves judging. Think spontaneity, as in spontaneous moments of nostalgic feeling. S and N are non-directive. They cannot ever, ever manage the balancing of a checkbook. I don't see it in sending Xmas cards either, at least not in directing the process.
Hmm, since you admit to being locked in a Ti-Si glass case, perhaps your view of Si is skewed? For you Si probably is playful being that it isn't quite the aryan poster child that Ti can be. However, for me, Si is the frowny faced older sister of Ne who is always ruining the mood by asking if Ne filled the dishwasher before bed.
What glass case? That would be for the Ne. For the Si they call it a loop something-or-other. My Ne uses tert-Si as a way out, but it takes on a different aspect, let's say, a more extreme aspect because it takes control all at once without direction from a dominant judging function such as the rational, universe-pondering Ti.
If Si is your inferior, like Fe is my inferior, then it's a wonder that it functions at all. Si is not directive anyway, it's not going to mentally nag you into filling the dishwasher. Repressed, inferior Si should keep you from wanting to consider various traditions, like some people I've known who forget the past, in general, as unimportant to present and future necessities. You will simply be a non-traditionalist.
If anything calls on you to fill the dishwasher, it is tertiary Te.
I dun haz inf si.
I was going with ENFP, but INFP has Te inferior. I don't know your type anyway.

I think your posts would have more pizzazz (aka, be more interesting) if you uncorked the unholy powers of the Ne Nile and see where the rapids take you.
Your avatar is gaining ironic value by the minute.
Old.
I am older and have developed some different functions over time. Tertiary Si, as in my case, supposedly begins to develop during the 30s.
Also, if you're going by only this one thread's tiny sampling (or even more of the same stuff on this forum), I have thousands of posts on other forums going back to 1998 that may not even sound like the same person as I am today on this forum. I have posts where I have gone on endlessly and with extreme dryness, particularly on the topics of philosophy and Immanuel Kant.
Oh ok, that's nice, because I score crappy Ne on function tests, which means my Si tertiary tends to come to the fore.
I suspect, on the other hand, that Mr. INTP is just playing with psychology, and is not into any of its practical employment.
So? I have Ne, only its kind of low right now, with Si moving up to take its place.
Trying to tear me down might have the ability to make you feel better, somehow, if that's even possible. I could just analyze you and say it's just your "demon Fe" or whatever. Your attempts to poke me with your JCF and draw out motives and emotions that don't exist are laughable. I think it gives you a feeling of omniscience. I don't think it's so much that I'm not an INTP, but that I'm not an immature INTP such as yourself.
And if you had to wrap up your finger yourself in your avatar, which appears to be the case, then I feel sorry that you have such a poor socialist medical system in your country. If it happened to me, I would just go down to our local clinic, walk in and be seen in a few minutes, and pay very little money.
