Education: What changes should be implemented in our school systems?

Finland has the best education system in the world and has no private schools. We have government funded private schools, and we are falling behind in education.

We have private schools to inculcate the faith, whether Catholic, Protestant, Islamic, or Hindi, or Buddhist.

It is obvious we are more interested in propagating the faith than educating our children.
