This sounds like a reasonable analysis

I'll have to confess that I lived with individuals who really hated Hilary for years and was inundated with negativity about her, and it sometimes influenced me in the past. In watching this video, I'd say her knowledge and reasoning in relationship to Putin sounds spot on to me. I wish I had supported her more in the past.

Missile Strikes NATO Member Poland Near Ukrainian Border. Wall Street Journal.

“We of course can speculate, ‘Was it an accident or not?’ But the reality is because [of] indiscriminate Russian attacks on civilian objects for weeks, [we have] now ended up with two missiles killing citizens of Poland on NATO territory,” Mr. Pabriks said in an interview. “Because if this happened once, either by accident or whatever, it shall not happen for a second time. Russians should know that it cannot go unpunished.

Apparently preliminary information about the trajectory of the missile suggests it was not fired from Russia.

US President Joe Biden said that preliminary information suggests it is unlikely the missile that caused an explosion in Poland on Tuesday and killed two civilians was fired from Russia.
Speaking to reporters after meeting with other world leaders in Bali, Indonesia, the president was asked if it was too early to say whether the projectile was fired from Russia.
"There is preliminary information that contests that. I don’t want to say that until we completely investigate it," Biden responded.
He added that "it’s unlikely in the minds of the trajectory that it was fired from Russia. But we’ll see."

I wonder where Putin's new hobby will lead him next?

The best thing is that the answer is quite possibly "nowhere". What is because he is objectively and totally dependent on China at this point, while political temperature in China has gone considerably up over the last 48 hours. If protests continue to spread across the country the whole world history could take one radical and kinda unexpected turn. This can truly be the end of the world as we know it, although most would mean that in a good way.

This is indeed textbook wildcard that can change EVERYTHING !

I don't know if you are watching the global trade game that is going on over the last few days.

Trade war averted? Macron gets Biden to ‘tweak’ his industrial subsidies

Seizing on EU tensions with US, Xi tells Europe to keep investing in China

I would say this is smart move by Biden in the bigger picture. The truth is that EU can't really distance itself further from China if it is in a trade struggle with US. Especially if there is mess in Ukraine just next door. While on the other hand pushing 17 billion $ economy that is EU towards China is probably the last thing US should do.

Chinese and Russian long-range bombers made reciprocal visits to each other’s bases following a joint patrol over regional waters, marking the first such visit following a bomber patrol involving the two countries.

The patrol over the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea on Wednesday was undertaken by a pair of Tupolev Tu-95MS “Bear” bombers of the Russian long-range aviation forces and a similar number of Xi’an H-6Ks from of China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force or PLAAF, according to a statement from the Russian defense ministry.

Russian authorities have banned public discussions of a wide range of non-classified military subjects that activists say will effectively prevent the public from learning crucial information about the Armed Forces.

The Tu-95 is a wild contraption. 4 sets of contra-rotating propellers and 60,000 horsepower that give it jet-like speed. I think it's the loudest plane since the XF-84H Thunderscreech, which had a propeller that made a continuous sonic boom. So I guess if Russia is running low on bombs and missiles they could resort to pummeling their enemies with noise.

Gotta be wondering, how they managed to flip the arms dealer, and if you aren't wondering how he's now an asset, I'll bet you are now. If you're the arms dealer, you're certainly wondering whether or not your tyrant in chief is wondering that. All morbid kidding aside, I wonder whether or not that other fellow who's been held by russia has been negotiated for?
