Greece — 2023 general election

The Greece seems to be turning left on the next elections that should be in a few months.

Ruling center right - 34%
Coalition of the radical left - 30%
Social democrats - 11%
Communist party - 7%
Nationalist parties - 7%
Anti establishment left - 4%

Bulgaria — 2023 general election

This is kinda tough to figure out. My feeling is coalition between Gerb (reformed Communists), Revival (ultra nationalists) and DPS (Turkish minority party). It isn't that this is untested combination that never ruled.

I mean the current situation will almost surely spawn plenty of national and local government across Europe that are in some way radical.

Poland — National parliament voting intention

Herring will not be happy but as the campaign is heating up the opposition is starting to lose ground. Although PiS is static, what is rising is Confederacy that is going further even than PiS (that has a reputation to be radical autocratic party). With these numbers and the current maps the nationalist block should have enough to win.

Berlin votes on climate neutrality by 2030

Here is another one.
Ok, but I truly think that 2030 is simply unrealistic no matter how much I support green ideas.
Tell that to the Danish - Copenhagen plans to be climate-neutral by 2025. But the Berliners voted against the initiative anyway. EDIT: There was a slight majority in favor but they didn't reach a quorum.

In other, but related, news 77% of all energy generated in Germany yesterday was renewable. That is far above the 30 day average, but shows what is already possible.

77% ?
You mean electric energy ? Because if it is all energy that would kinda mean that over half of cars is electric. What doesn't strike me as a fact.

Just asking.

Since we are on the topic of your own country there is something serious that I wanted to ask you for some time.
I mean I am just reading a piece about the subject.

German Christian Democrats rewrite Merkel’s China playbook

So how much is there national pride and hawkishness in CDU/CSU at this point ? I mean Merkel was so soft on many points that many forgot that she was governing as a conservative. So I am wondering how much of pre-merkel ideology was left in the party ? I mean as she left the post the party has supposedly moved more towards right. However nowhere I have seen too much about this in detail or in examples. I mean am more interested in social aspect then economic aspect, in economy things are fairly clear to me. As I said we down here tend to copy you with a certain lag. Currently I have evident 'Merkel-ite" in the office, however now we are gathering our streetlight coalition that could win if they play smart. While after that we will probably get something evidently to the right as counter (Merz). I mean the two of our Center right parties are actually pretty good friends from what I gathered, so I am wondering what exactly is likely to spill over to me in incoming years. After all German center right is the main center right in the entire union and thus is likely to define trends. Especially since the odds are that they will lead next German government. (you don't have to write me the wall of text as an answer)
