I tried to associate chakras with MBTI functions as follows. Stability in life requires well functioning of all the chakras:
Root Chakra
Sacral Chakra
Solar Plexus
Heart Chakra
Throat Chakra
Third-eye Chakra
Crown Chakra

Root Chakra
This lies at the base of the spine. It concerns safety and survival. You could call it grounding. When balanced, it shows the person as being centred, safe, and secure. When under active or blocked, you have fear and anxiety. When overactive, you have greed and lust for power.[/B]
Sacral Chakra
It is placed below the navel where the reproductive organs are. It is associated with reproductive power and creative force. When balanced, it makes you creative and passionate. When under active, you become afraid of intimacy and lack creativity. When overactive, you have sexual fixation, indulge in drama, and become manipulative.
Solar Plexus
This has a place in the stomach region and relates to your physical well-being. It is right above the navel and gives your personal power. When it is balanced, you feel powerful and have a strong drive. When it is blocked, you have low self-esteem and lack direction. You become over sensitive to criticism. When overactive, you become domineering and power hungry.
Heart Chakra
This is next to your physical heart at the centre of the chest. It deals with relationships and unity with your fellow man. When balanced, you feel loved and love everyone. When blocked or underactive, you feel hate and have trust issues. Physically, it might mean lung issues or heart disease.
Throat Chakra
We see this in the throat region and is associated with speech. It deals with self-expression. When balanced, you are clear and confident. When blocked or underactive, you are a poor listener and overly secretive. When overactive you speak harshly and criticize openly. Weak immune system and cold and sore throat are the physical manifestations.
Third-eye Chakra
This is located on your forehead; it represents your mind’s eye or intuition. When balanced, you have an active imagination and are highly intuitive. When blocked or underactive, you have poor judgement, imagination, and memory. When overactive, you have delusions and hallucinations. Physically, you will have poor vision and eye pain.
Crown Chakra
Located on top of your head, your crown chakra connects to the divine. It is higher consciousness. Balanced state shows faith in the universe and readiness to assimilate information. When blocked, you have depression and learning difficulties. When overactive, you become judgemental or have spiritual addiction. Physically, you might feel dizziness, migraines or headaches, and cognition problems.
