What are your thoughts on Anarcho-communism (or anarcho-socialism while we are at it.)?
Merced , I believe I seen you support this in discord, and I had a few questions about how it works. I feel the very position is an oxymoron. So could you please clarify it.

1)How do you define anarchy? I define it as lack of government/central government (fed, state, etc)

2) Isn't it better to support Libertarian policy to ease the transition to anarcho? Why vote Democratic? How do you reconcile progressive ideology with anarcho-communism?

3) How does it function in general? Like, what would everyday life be like? How would you be protected from crime? Where do you get food? How do jobs work?

4)What do you do when someone doesn't want to take part?

To be honest if Merced or ceecee (I think she has a quiz which she said was pretty accurate) wants to respond to some of this I'd be interested.

Because in response to seeing this more I've been trying to research, of course what I can find is quite limited, but admittedly so far I kind of like the sound of it.

I don't identify with Anarcho-communism although I hope no one is confusing it with Anarcho-capitalism. I identify more with anarcho-socialism. There is a great deal on both subjects available to read, this is a good start.

Anarcho capitalism is the real oxymoron. Putting faith in highly centralized business organizations to fix everything via the free market is similar to putting faith in a highly centralized bureaucracy. Unless ancaps are advocating for some form of distributism, which I might be able to get behind.

I’d ask lark for some reading suggestions and while you’re at it, browse YouTube for some of Chomsky’s lectures and comments on European libertarian socialism

Oh yeah for sure. But any "extreme libertarians" are almost always ancaps. I would also put "classical liberals" in there much of the time, when you scratch the surface.

They’re not usually really libertarians to begin with. Their interest in liberty seems to concern themselves but they’re often perfectly fine supporting authoritarian police states.

It’s all been part of a clever rebranding over the past century because it’s easier to get people to support laissez faire capitalism if you can brand it so they think it benefits the common man or woman

I hate neoliberalism and, by extension, libertarianism.
But here you got a form of libertarianism that I don't hate... And what you said at least makes sense.
Know I understand what left libertarianism means, I thought that was impossible and crazy hahahahah.

I wish someone would answer my questions, instead of linking me books. This shows you either a) don't understand it yourself to sum it up or b) you don't even know.
