An Internet Friend

I am going to get to meet an internet friend for the first time this week! He's from Texas. His daughter goes to school at a local college. I've never met anyone in person before who I only met online! It's kind of exciting in a way.

We go back a couple of years I think... not on this site. It was another site I used to frequent... not so much any more. I don't know his MB type. We're both happily married and such. It's just a friendly visit. I will be having lunch with him and his daughter.

His daughter is an awesome young lady (probably ISxJ) I'd adopt her if I could. Love her!

Ever since I started stalking fervently tracking? Jason Castro from American Idol, who is also form Texas, I have really begun loving Texans. I've even thought I'd like to move there. How I wish I could have raised my kids there. Oh well. Too late now. It's pretty much done.

Jason has been writing and recording some songs. Last I heard, he was still trying to decide whether it was better to go with a label, or go indy (independent). On the American Idol tour, he sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow, What A Day For A Daydream and Crazy (by Gnarles Barkley). The tour just finished about a month ago. Of course, the two Davids both got recording contracts, so did Kristie Lee Cook.

That's funny about the cosmic order. I guess you could think of it that way. I'm extremely cautious about such things, but I could tell by how transparent and trusting he was, and by the fact that he let me meet his daughter that he certainly wasn't someone I needed to fear. He's a married man about my age and he and his daughter are taking me to lunch because I offered to be there for her if she ever needed anything while she's so far away from home.

I forgot about the Davids. American Idol was awesome this year. I wonder when they'll release over here.
