If your leader is leading you to hell for no reason.
You need to stop following that leader.
Closed door meetings in politics always lead to foot shots.
Ronald McDonald isnt the only clown named Ron with delusions of grandeur.

Watching Bernie try not to laugh when Obrien says Mullin just described himself. Priceless.
Teamsters all the way.

As I said: start planning your life in a way that we will completely mess this up. Since it is becoming completely obvious that we will.
That seemed pretty obvious from the get go. Most countries can't get their own political parties on the same page, much less a wide disparate group from different countries.

Furthermore, the greenies seem more obsessed with social justice than emission reductions (i.e. third world countries, including China and India, can't be expected to do anything unless western countries foot the bill) no real progress will be made. Not to mention China will do as it pleases one way or another regardless.

It also doesn't help that environmentalists generally have a burr under their saddle when it comes to nuclear. The one technology that currently seems viable for energy dense carbon free power.

I just watched this. What a fucking infant. But Mullin perfectly embodies the fragility that is Republicans.

The truth is that truly many countries don't even have some kind of a plan how to control this. Or you have places like India that say they will solve their part of the problem by 2070. What is evidently too late. On the other hand global reduction by about 50% until the end of the decade isn't really realistic.

Plus it must be said that traditional forms of nuclear energy isn't viable source either. Since as you have peak oil in the same fashion we have peak uranium. Plus if the world goes nuclear that peak will be here in a blink. So we can only count on nuclear energy that is from different chemical elements and is technologically innovative. Also a person must not forget that all nuclear plants are on the banks of rivers, which they are using for cooling. However with the melt of glaciers due to temperature increase the rivers will lose their predictability due to droughts. Since the glaciers are basically a back-up water for hot season. Therefore once they are gone many rivers will become much more seasonal and unpredictable. What is huge technical problem for nuclear energy as we know it, since that energy requires linearity and stability.

Therefore either way there are big challenges ahead.
I said what I said exactly because average person has not idea of the scale of crap that is going our way.

I'm in a very pissed off mood because of something else I just read, but boy do I hate the phrase job creator.

I'm a carbon Dioxide creator myself. It essentially means the same thing. It's like a male cow putting: "Methane Creator" on a resume and then getting offended when someone points out that's just the gasious accompaniment to all the bull shit

IMO, nobody wants to do anything about because of how it might affect the economy.

Please run for president Shawn Fain.
He can do more for working people staying where he is. Same for Sean O'Brien, although it really is some old school stuff to see a Teamster boss invite some politician outside to get their ass kicked, then said politician to cry about it publicly.

It cracks me up how people who consider themselves serious people cant wrap their heads around actual serious decisions. It really goes to show the madness of accelerationism. They all want Mad Max world because they think they would be the warlords instead of just dust in the wind with the rest of us. It really makes me wonder if people can understand the demarcation between reality and illusion of what their own tragic lack of imagination decieves them into believing. It's like the missing footage of the Event Horizon. It exists in defiance, of anything remotely ordered outside of the most insane concepts of the corruption of the idea of it.

It's a wacky race the old us poltical game.

Its crazy how much like Dick Dastardly donald Trump ended up being, and how much more success Ron DeSantis would have if he leaned into the fact that he's clearly Mutley The Mutley snicker would totallt humanize him in a way that would make him in on the joke of being an empty man. But if I have to limit it to congress Gaetz is my Dick Dastardly vote and MArjorie Taylor Green is Mutley. I'm not going to pick on Lauren though. I tend to think she's living in her own horror movie as her reflection over the years has slowly stopped believing that she's going to get to be the final girl like she was banking on. Who knew that the Pretty Woman Reboot was gonna be produced by the daily wire. I just realized Ben Shapiro sees himself as the director in The Truman Show and suddenly the whole sad puzzle snaps into place. The story never changes just the names and faces Like Ted Cruz and Mullin, still think that they're foolin. It's stupid contagious to be broke and famous, no one can save us from punk rock 101. Jerry Springer, Sally Jessie Raphael, Ricki Lake, Montel, and Maury were very important ring masters in the circus of our country. Without that ecological niche filled. The entire ecosytem is thrown into disarray until a new homeostasis can be established. Its the kind of thing that can really be mitigated by ability to come together in common interest or mutual ability to laugh at ones self. So naturally we're not doing well.
