Yes, that's also possible hmm. I'm not sure why that would be the case, but that seems right from the latest results. Maybe it's because it's hard to differentiate between loops/grips, and not everyone has experienced/aware of experiencing both.

The code for that section currently is questions about whether one acts in a certain way under a certain level of stress, and how much their responses align to the typical response of a type.

How does the test know how one acts under stress? What's the base reference definition of under-stress behaviour for each type that is used in the test?

It uses the loops and grips reactions of each type.

For example, in loops (under mild stress), the type overuses their tertiary function. Because the tertiary function has the same extraversion/introversion as the dominant function and thus the type, a type during mild stress will seem more extraverted if they are Exxx, or more introverted if they are Ixxx.
In grips (under extreme stress), the type overuses their inferior function. Because the inferior function has the opposite introversion/extraversion as the dominant function thus the type, a type during extreme stress will seem more introverted if they are Exxx, or more extraverted if they are Ixxx.

There's a tally for each type on how similar the supposed reaction of that type aligns with the responses. The type with the most points on the tally is the result of the stress section.

It might be possible that the stressor test part currently gets the tertiary and inferior functions right instead.

ISTJ's tertiary and inferior functions are Fi and Ne, which makes INFP.

Interesting test, not sure about its accuracy but it's novel at the very least.

Not sure what I think about it, novel layout and quite curious to see how different theories can come to different conclusions.

Lol all I know is Im an introvert at this point. Idk if Ive ever gotten ISTP before but thats a fun one. I have a hard time with dichotomies. And I have a hard time because I know which questions skew which way- and testing bias is scary and dumb/defeats the purpose of testing. Istp 9w1 would be an interesting type though. Kinda badass
