Dear Bernie, black voters propelled Biden comeback, and they're not elite or establishment
Bernie Sanders is marginalizing the voices of black voters and arming Trump and his MAGA army with campaign ammunition to inflame racial divides.

Sanders claims on working-class voters ignore Biden's black support

Bernie Sanders Scrapped A Planned Speech On Race

"He didn't want to speak on behalf of people of color when there were people of color on the panel," said Casca.

Aside from a 30-minute speech at the start of the event, the six panelists spoke more than the candidate himself.

The difference is Sanders actually wants those voices to be heard; the above sums up his approach, versus Biden's. Biden schmoozes and is good at getting endorsements, so he can say “I know a black guy” “hey I have a black friend” to make white voters feel better about supporting him. These endorsements shouldn't be conveyed as an actual referendum on Biden's record, as you've continued to do.

Also,
The key to racial equality is economic reform and criminal justice reform. Biden exacerbated problems that directly affected and marginalized those communities by supporting, and in some cases co-sponsoring bad policy in his senate career.

Sanders has a long history of supporting racial equality, sometimes putting himself in danger. What did Biden do? A few photo-ops with black church leaders whilst joining republicans in the tough-on-crime movement of the 80s and 90s that led to an inflated number of blacks behind bars, often for nonviolent offenses like being caught with small amounts of pot.

Stop judging Biden by what he's said, judge him by what he's done.

Yes, Sanders doesn't tailor speeches to any one demographic. He speaks to the people as a unified group.

That's true. I listened to him speak yesterday, he stays on topic. No me/I, it's always we/us. Maybe this irks some because they're not being singled out but isn't lack of unity what people are always bitching about?

The powers that be love to highlight the divides and differences between various groups. Divide and conquer. Sanders tries to unite those groups, and I think this is why he's a real threat to some of his political opponents' string pullers.

blah blah blah

Bernie doesn't give a shit. And it's too late for him to pretend to without looking disingenuous.

Calling Clyburn a moron again, I see. You don't learn from your mistakes.

He reminds me a bit of Uncle Ellsworth from The Fountainhead:

Ellsworth Toohey

And the only people that consider him "unifying" are his supporters. Everyone else sees him as quite divisive.

Inside a future Biden administration: His possible picks for VP and Cabinet - Axios

A Biden presidency would be full of Obama people.... you know, the ones who use the FBI on political opponents and screwed up Obamacare and bombed 7 different countries in 2016 using 26000 bombs and liked bad trade deals and droning weddings and funerals.....

Oh, and zero wage growth and high unemployment and high food stamp usage..... e.t.c.

I would so much rather have Bernie.....

I always thought of that character as a hybrid Dick Cheney / Jim Jones type (even the cliffs notes link you posted noted the Jones similarities)

The NYT is not “everyone else”

I liked Obama but the people he packed his cabinet with....not so much

It quickly became apparent he was a puppet.

Such a disappointment, and one reason I'll likely never support a machine republicrat again.
