I have a Darth Maul (Star Wars universe) question. I see that he was brought back after being chopped in half by a light saber. This was also revealed in a Clone Wars episode, but I've never watched that series.

Is the Force powerful with this one, or what?

his lower body is replaced with mechanical parts... there is a whole thing going on with him and his brother... i am not all that well informed with that part of the storyline, nor have i kept up with changes to cannon by disney (aside from the films)..

If I remember right there are comics of both Darth Vader and Darth Maul which go out of their way to demonstrate how evil those characters are, I dont remember the Vader one but I definitely remember a Maul one in which he strangles someone and then, not content with doing them in that way, drowns them.

It was pretty hard core stuff, like not Disney at all.

Not disney is the best thing it could possibly be. ;)

There's also a novel trilogy of Darth Maul that's a pretty fun read if you're into lonely assassins.

I'd be curious, given the time line, of what Maul's pre-dark side existence could have been, all things considered.

The other Darths were Jedi after all who were tempted by the dark side, although presumably he would have been no Jedi and the Sith did not exist in any format other than a secret society at that point.

It looks like the publisher is just trying to use Darth Maul as a selling point. He doesn't appear very often.

Yeah, I guess Maul's organs weren't in the bottom half of his body. You could say he just had his legs removed. But watch him fight Emperor Palpatine. :D

I loved Clone Wars by the way. Great story-telling for all the characters, including Anakin and his padawan and even Asajj Ventress, finally a Grey Sith; it's nice to see Star Wars develop some anti-heroes and give the characters some depth, including the Clone Soldiers.
