What is your least favorite quality in other people?

You know, like that one thing that just completely turns you off to a person with pretty much no hope of ever reconciling just because you can't stand it about them?

Mine: people who are argumentative for the pure sake of being argumentative. You can't say a single fucking thing around these people without them starting a debate about it. I cannot STAND it.

You know, like that one thing that just completely turns you off to a person with pretty much no hope of ever reconciling just because you can't stand it about them?

People who are boorishly aggressive/assertive without really being able to see anyone else's point of view. It's like they don't even try, they feel absolutely no obligation to consider others' viewpoints whilst feeling an inflated sense of entitlement for everyone else to kowtow to theirs.

Also: people who are clearly trying to steer shared reality in a self-serving direction under the guise of "dialogue" - but actual dialogue synthesis (thesis + antithesis = synthesis) doesn't happen because they systematically spin things to tip the scale in their favor. Just the feeling that happens when interacting with them. It sets off all sorts of red flags that are nearly impossible to immediately articulate, yet cause such a strong emotional reaction that I'll start to feel an overwhelming visceral gut sickness when I have to interact with them. Ugh.

Self-entitlement. An a-priori sense that the world and everyone in it is their oyster, to exploit and commodify as they will.

Something I recently learned from a new group of friends:

White-trash? Fine. They are usually nice people.
Stupid? Tiring, but people cannot help being deficient.
Stupid white trash? Nostalgic. Reminds me of my Mother's side of the family. They had the best holiday parties.

Stupid White trash who think they are high-class intellectuals? Soak it in kerosene and set it on fire.

Seriously, do not go to a fancy restaurant claim that you are a better chef and then complain that they did not put enough Ranch dressing on your Cesar salad.

A lack of empathy i can work with. A lack of willingness to develop it at least to the point where others are relatively safe i cannot. I ll feel for that person but i ll isolate them if i can to prevent the virus from spreading.

People who are extremely ruthless and rigid without having the capacity to understand and accept that people are always going to be different from them. If I happen to do anything that makes them tick, they'll blow up and hold an eternal grudge on me. I always feel like I have to walk on eggshells around these people. No bueno.

Those who can't handle or even bother to try to understand viewpoints that differ from their own.
Those who accuse you of not being open minded because you don't fall in line with their way of thinking.

I can't stand detail oriented people and they usually can't stand me either.

Indirectness, cattiness (especially when it's stupid and formulaic), disloyalty, lack of honor/ lack of honor in conflict, lack of intimacy, insecurity, artificiality, manipulativeness, sorting then treating people according to roles (which is all social doms but you mi amor), being excessively empirical, lack of self-awareness/insensitivity.

They all mix together to form the quality of repulsiveness, so they are in fact all describing one form and emotional impression derived from a person.

I personally cannot stand people who refuse to look at themselves and try and better themselves even when it would be better for both them and the people around them. I also cannot stand a lack of empathy for anyone be it human or animal. The best way a person can make themselves repugnant to me is to demonstrate a strong lack of empathy for others like I was physically sick almost and very angry when a relative said they would put their cat to sleep if it was too much of a nuisance and I squirm inside when someone makes remarks like "The homeless and criminals should all die then the streets would be cleaner"

Indecisive people are pretty up there im terms of "I hate you". Especially if they're one of those indecisive people who resolve to say "I don't care" everytime they have to make a choice.

People who lack basic initiative also grinds my gears. Not even starting something is such a specific type of lazy that pisses me off to no end.

My older brother told me once about going on a date with a girl at this high class restaurant, only to walk out on her when she asked for A1 sauce for her $30 steak.
