Well, that quote in particular, I'm not so sure about. It sounds quite reasonable.
However, I was reading some of Lewis' theological material (Mere Christianity), and I was amazed by how similar his thoughts are to my own. I was like, wow, that's pretty much my thoughts only better expressed. So, I inferred from that that he and I would be the same type in the MBTI.
At the moment, I'm leaning towards INTJ for myself. In terms of cognitive functions, I would say that due to my high levels of introversion, I can sometimes seem to be an F because the Fi sort of overtakes the Te quite often. (I don't know if that sentence can really be translated into your dichotomy-based approach, though. I guess you would just put an X or mark the preference as slight?)
