You know Qlip, I'd be curious to know the percentage of ENFP guys on this forum compared to our female counterparts. It seems to me there seems to be a healthy number of guys, at least enough to debunk that stereotype!

There are probably about nearly equal amounts of us, but our charms and curses tend to be associated with femininity.

I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night screaming "SACRIFICE THE FIRSTBORN!! EVERYONE WITHOUT THE MARK WILL DIE!!" until I get a severe brain embolism. Does this make me Ne? I hope it does.

I'm pretty much decently developed, to the point where I could pass off as either a Feeler or a Thinker, depending on the situation.

I don't own guns...well not yet atleast.

Just because I logically think something doesn't mean I have to act on it or force it

I don't appear to be a really kind and sweet person like Fi doms are commonly associated with. I am aware of world issues for I don't believe my sole purpose is changing the world.

Other than that I do relate to the Infp stereotypes (artistic, reserved, accepting of people, socially deprived, etc) , even after doing a lot of research into what my type could be :)

For some reason...I just love this.

I'm not a math whiz.

I was talking to an art student today who identifies as an INTP. She is a brilliant young woman who wants to be a clothing designer. That's not "typical" for INTPs is it? I think she's very cool.

The "hall monitor" or related things for us ISTJs, you know what I mean. I am just so lazy and passive. I have no interest in controlling other people's schedules, just trying to live my own life as good as I can make it.

I suppose it all comes down to what stereotype you are considering. I am not like the stereotype of INTJs being jerks to everyone, arrogantly telling others they are wrong. Even when younger, I was usually more than willing to at least hear the other person out, and give them a constructive response. More than that, I actually tend to be very courteous in dealing with others. People have to go out of their way to try to offend me or sabotage my plans for me to be otherwise.

I am also a musician as well as a spiritual person, but I'm not sure that either is strictly outside the usual stereotypes.

That's cool. What would be interesting to see is how her approach to that craft might differ from other designers. I wonder if her designs would show a great emphasis on functionality or if she would take a different approach entirely. I wonder how she would approach the business side of that career.

When I was writing sci-fi in junior high and high school, I'd design clothing and uniforms for various characters and races in my universe. The clothes were designed to be unique yet functional and believable (at least in my mind). For instance, what would a bipedal reptilian race with tails wear? I wish I'd saved all my journals and notebooks from that period.

Very cool! Her clothes have a unique look to them. Her designs are very intricate [Ti?] and detailed, but I think that's what makes them good. She has a lot of natural talent. She's 17 right now, but I hope she makes a career of it.

I think Ti combined with Si can be very artistic especially in regard to very detailed.

Come on, express your inner Estj....lol. it is interesting how I's tend to pick and choose how they force themselves on the world very much. I don't even know if we can nail what down to a type so much as it is the details that are more specific to a person and not to a personality. We can just use statistics which can and will change based on group it's based on since it's not really type related.

I wonder if this is because you are actually an INFP. You kind of give off a similar vibe to an INFP on the forum here. I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't actually an ISTJ.
