I watched the Around the World in 80 Days remake for the second time yesterday.
It's a very good movie. Phileas Fogg is a hilarious character (and an extremely classic stereotype of the INTJ), who will not let anything cloud his complete and utter logic regarding everything, until he meets not-so-well-played Monique (a cliche' French INFP), who teaches him the wonder of art and imagination.
Jackie Chan also has a great role as 'Passepartout' (real name Lau Xing), who is a really caring tag along, if a bit of a deceptful liar (he's an ISFP, imo), who tricks the determined Phileas into taking him to his Asian hometown rather than fulfilling the tight-scheduled duty of circumnavigating the globe in 80 days, thus winning Phileas the position of the head of the Royal Academy of Science, currently led by the corrupt, bullying Lord Kelvin (ESTP).
I thought it was a brilliant, feel-good movie with some incredible scenery of the globe and some hilarious cameo appearances, such as Owen Wilson as the inferior-minded Wright brother, and Rob Schneider as a scheming hobo. The poor critical reception stunned me, I thought it was just great.
