Your experiences with mental illness

I have depression and anxiety/panic disorder. That's all that has been found so far I think. The depression is in check with meds and the anxiety is in check to livable amounts. It was first found out 9 years ago but probably came about even earlier than that. I know there was a time before anxiety/depression but I can barely remember it.


And I am also autistic, but that isn't a mental illness Though the effects of being autistic in a neurotypical's world could've certainly brought upon my mental illnesses.

I don't have any mental illnesses but I have a brother who suffers from schizophrenia.

I think I have PTSD.
It started when I was in 9th grade.

I was known as being fearless; when everyone is creeped out I kept an eye on this one classmate I don't know what's his problem is, in case he explodes. (I guess it's a severe social anxiety mixed with aggression) His condition was 'cured' back in the 8th grade, that is. He just goes back to his illness and gets worse in the 9th.
One day, he asked me to pretend to be his girlfriend. Pretty sure he just wanted a mere status of being taken. So I rejected it, saying "I'm not ready and don't want to date people at this point". He 'understands', but after that he started getting near with me, touching my hair, sharing jokes so old it's not funny anymore; gosh I've met all kinds of people but this one almost harassed me.
Then again with the same guy, it was a group task. He wants to be in the all boys group so when he knows their group is full and he must go into a mixed boys-and-girls group, he runs out from class...

He fcking attempts a suicide by falling from the balcony in front of my class and the other students.

He was stopped just in time. But I grew a feeling of self-blaming. Next thing I know is me pushing away people. Oh yeah, helped by a girl who started over-criticizing me and my heroine complex.
What's worse? Most friends from the same middle-school, when introducing ourselves, will ask me, "Oh? You're from that class? With the suicidal kid? Please tell me/us about it."

I don't take any treatments.
I went for help to my family and friends and classmates.

I was agoraphobic around adolescence but I've learned to cope with it. I've reduced it to about 10% or so. The only meds I take is something based on passion flower + valerian and pot to calm me down in the evening. I went through some rough times but I'm so glad I've made it through and established a very normal life. I have mild to severe depression. The first encounter happened around three years ago and I've been having it on and off since. The truth is, only a few of my online friends know about it because of a turbulent event that exposed my depression a few months ago. I've been better since, but I'm trying to find my old self: that is, the one who depression has robbed me of.
