I'm watching the final episodes of the first season of Jericho and the citizens of the town, which exists in a world after nuclear explosions have plunged the US into an apocalyptic localism which not much in the way of law or peace, have been attacked by a neighbouring town.
They are rallying to the towns defence. My question is would you do this? I dont know that I would, if I could look after my immediate family's safety in some way other than defending to town I dont think I would.
It could be me and just not liking the town I've grown up in and issues unique to this part of the world like sectarianism and social class composition but I wonder if this is widespread. Is the US different?
