I guess I can see many ways of avoiding the end result whether being "moral" or "immoral". I typically try to chose the moral, but since the guy didn't the lesson is either don't do it or actually be smart about it.

Smart was supposed to be implied... and yeah, some cops can be a little simple. All I know is my experiences with them have all been neutral or positive. Back home my dad and I only send the green ones for a loop in reality while their more experienced partners stand back and try not to laugh.
