Therefore all poetry must be either passive or aggressive

Poem

This poem just sucks, so it neither passive nor aggressive.
Therefore not all poems are passive-aggressive.

It's just come to my attention that passive-aggressive behavior is unfavorable in society, so shouldn't poetry be, too?

And face facts. There really is no meaning in poetry unless you're looking for it. That's the thing I fucking hate about these literary scholars.

(And I'm aware of my use of a swear word...I think the votes in Feedback were pretty straightforward. Majority rules.)

Depends on the poem. But if you want to be technical, then there is no meaning in anything unless you are looking for it. Even while reading these words you are assessing their individual meaning, the meaning of the order of which they are in, and the context by which they are used.
