Were you an observer or interacter?

Based on what people have told you on your early childhood were the child who got involved and did stuff with others, or were you the child that was just as or even more so content at watching the world and just observing?

edit:I do realize it depends on the situation, almost everything when it comes to behavior depends on the situation, but overall.

I was an observer. Parents used to joke that they could take me to nice restaurants because I'd just sit in the high chair and look around.

I've always thought this was at least 80% dependent I/E with maybe 20% personal traits.

By what I've been told.. Observer. I was curious and active about the world, but not of interacting with other people or children. Made only a few friends, who were actually more quiet than me, someone's mom once thanked my mom for it.
And I'd sit still for hours on end if I had to.

I'm less of an interactor now but at the same time I'm not a good observer.

I was neither as a kid....

ADHD-predominantly inattentive, to me, basically means that I didn't pay attention to people at all. It's no wonder I feel more like autistics/aspies (hell, even schizophrenics) than "normies"
