Thanks for the couple of comments, it seems I'm way to used to the old personal threads and getting a little email to let me know someone is reading and commenting...
Anyway, I intend to pick this up a bit but who knows, I used to be good at blogging, a couple of years back, it was simple then though cos I could do it from work! lol (I know Gen, I'm a bad lazy worker like the rest of human kind
)
Anyway, I have one exam left, it is on the period 1415 (date of the battle of agincort) to 1485 (date of the battle of bosworth fields) and basically covers a period of civil war and dynastic struggle in england called the Wars of the Roses...
It's my weakest subject and i should be revising as the exam is on friday! I am however having a lot of trouble concentrating! Oddly all i want to do is plan, think about and advance arrangements for my forth coming wedding to Gen!!
I'm so excited it's really distracting, I mean I'm even bouncy that I've booked my car in for some work on the alarm system, hardly romantic huh? But it had to be done before I go away (on 29th, GOSH only a week tomorrow) and so it's one more tick on my way to the happy day! I've also ordered all my statements I need to support her application for a spousal visa, I hope they arrive on time or mum is going to open them before sending them on! I have a cunning plan to shut her up when she complains I have less money left than she'd like to think!!!
One of the nicest side effects of my engagement is that I honestly fear my mothers judgement less than I did. There is nothing like telling someone where to get off, and pointing out exactly how judgemental they are being, for deminishing the hold they have on you!
she is a total worry guts (my mother) and while I can't pretend I haven't picked this trait up, I refuse to let it dull my life as it has hers!!
I'm hoping my friends (Xander etc) may make it out to the wedding too, sadly his other half decided to offer him a choice about where to stay etc, I'm supprised she hasn't learnt to just tell him if she actually wants a decision! (Mind you then his stubborn independence kicks in but he is still almost as indecisive as me!!)
Common Xander make a decision... it will only get more expensive the more you wait!!! (think of it as part of making your life more exciting!!)
Anyway I should go and read about a monkish king getting deposed and then murdered (henry VI) and the like I guess.... sigh..
would rather talk about my wedding though!!!!
