So, I've been telling myself for at least a couple of months now that I'd start up a blog here and try to get into the habit of sharing a bit (other than my usual semi-compulsive lurking with an occasional comment). The rollout of the new blogging module seems as good a time as any (except for a couple of months ago, when I decided that I wanted to, but hey, better late than never).
I'm telling myself that I'll try to "post" at least something every day or two, more to just "keep things going" and get myself in the habit of writing more non-work oriented stuff. I don't particularly expect anyone to read this, but if you feel like saying something ("Ugh, this sucks", "This is boring me", or "What's up with the cat in the swimming pool", etc.) the more the merrier.
I've managed to procrastinate away most of the evening, so I don't have too much to say tonight. I did go back and re-take the cognitive processes test (for about the 8th time).

Pretty typical, but it doesn't really give me a lot of insight, especially as far as the "typical" theoretical patterns are supposed to go. I've never been able to figure out if this is because I'm so terribly lacking in self-introspection that I just can't answer well, or if I'm just sort of weird
. Both is certainly an option. It's telling me INTP this time, but INTP and INFP come up pretty much equally (as on pretty much any other sort of evaluation I've done - one of these days I should do the real thing). On the other hand, not like it matters a whole lot which, if either, is "true".
Anyway, it's getting sort of late here, so I think I'll go get some sleep. Nothing too terribly exciting, but I did actually get this thing going, so that's something. More sorta-late tomorrow night after class is over.
Random comment... doesn't it make you feel old when the music you liked as a teenager has been re-mixed into "TV commercial background music?" It's almost creepy.
