Also, this nomadic boy sleeping with his reindeer. That's real life, man.

I can comment in your blog! :happy2: Throwing in a mention in case you don't get notifications... nicolita

Since everyone I talk with this week somehow mentions something which is related to this obscure topic (what's the deal with that? ), I'll point out that there's a whole interesting story behind that boy and his people. (You might know about it already, but the Evenk people live a primitive lifestyle in the middle of Siberia where it gets down to like -70F in the winter. I like and enjoy being outside and even backpacking in the worst winter conditions, but living at -70 as part of everyday life? That's just mind-blowing! :shocking:

JAVO, first of all...yay! :yay:

Second of all, and more importantly, whaaaat?! People keep mentioning the Evenk people of Siberia to you this week?! That is beyond weird. I honestly had no idea what the back story of this picture was. I just saw it, and really loved it. I'm completely amazed by the different ways people live human life on the same earth. He does look quite cozy cuddling his pet reindeer : )

I love being outside as well. I've never really "gotten into" backpacking, but I love the idea of it. I love adventuring, seeing the world, and breathing fresh air. I am kind of a baby about cold weather though. I just hate being cold so much, lol.

Thanks for the info on the Evenk. I plan to devote some googling time to learning more about them.
