“The problem with this is that all this takes money. The current system is ruled hidden behind the scenes by the super rich.

With their money they influence to the point of corruption politicians of both left and right. With their money they are able to finance an army of lobbyists.

Even worse with their money they can control the media outlets. I’ve already written that Americans are given by the media that which viscerally satisfies them.

It is the American public who give attention and network ratings some of the worst portrayals of the human species.

1. The Howard Stern Show.
2. The Jerry Springer Show.
3. Rush Limbaugh.
4. Reality TV such as the Kardashians.
5. Professional Wrestling which showcase antisocial behavior and normalizes the violence.

People really don’t want the real truth in the news. The news networks give the people what they want.

They placate the people with emotion laden messages that are filled with hate, fear, stereotypes, and prejudiced propaganda.

They appeal to the base of people that tune into their stations. If the real news was truly broadcast then it wouldn’t get the ratings that the business news outlets wants.

If the real news was ever broadcast it would cause cognitive dissonance among the viewers.

To be fair the saying of “MSBC” fair and news balanced” would also be hypocrisy. Fox leans right. MSBC leans left.

When you have Ted Nugent on your station who’s nickname of “Mad City Motorman” you lose all credibility.

I’m being purposely facetious. Why do you not have on that station ‘Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osborne, or Judas Priest on that propaganda station.

All the news networks are a business. So the Fox News owners give to their viewers juicy, hate filled propaganda.” LightSun

In public news broadcasting Rachel Madow is a real Journalist. One who is educated and is a professional. She and MSBC lean left but at least she has a formal education. I can tell Rachel has a high IQ because of her vocabulary.

I hate to tell you but all legacy media, corporate media, main stream media is and will always be governed by the shareholders of the companies, the executives that most certainly have a right lean (even in "liberal" media) and the advertising that causes so much shit in it self, no one wants to look at it.

In January it will be 5 years since I watched any "news". I have no interest whatsoever in changing the minds of people who are still watching and/or getting their information from the most oatmeal brained people from the very worst places on the internet - no longer capable of grasping right from wrong or true from false. And no real motivation to remedy any of it. They want to be spoon fed lies, disinformation and do whatever they're told - they'll hand over every bit of personal responsibility so they can never be blamed for any of it in the future.

Unfiltered "news" is out there. By real journalists doing real investigative journalism. But Rachel Maddow isn't one of them. She just sounds better.
