So yesterday was my birthday. I had been eyeing it all month, not looking forward to adding yet another year to my number.
But..I have to say, it turned out great. My INTJ woke up late and decided to take the day off and pamper me
He got me some gorgeous roses and some fresh fruit juice and I made some smoothies for breakfast, he also conquered me a mountain of chocolate to indulge in and we watched some nice Sookie drama, followed by some other shows and vedged out in the bed. Then he kicked me out of the bed, told me to dress up as we were going out.
He sat down again and gave me plenty of time to muck about with my make up which I went all out on for the occasion (marilynn monroe meets cleopatra
). I also gave him a carte blanche to tell me if I went way too far. He didn't have to use it, he said
Then we went to Akerbrygge, which is the seaside restaurant area along the fjords of Oslo. Gorgeous view. We got a nice restaurant with like love seats and blankets and heat lamps (its summer here, but still) and we experimented with some cocktails (i got another smoothie as well), had a grand dinner with appetizers and the most awesome Mouilleux (chocolate fondant with a runny chocolate center) and he got a delicious strawberry platter to go with it
Then he indulged in some scotch, got really mushy, we talked a lot, emo-connected
Finally they kicked us out of the restaurant, after a really nice luxurious meal and several cups of the most awesome tea.
We also made a pact to do this more often, though perhaps less elaborately (expensive, ouch!)
Once home, we got all cuddly and snuggly in the bed and slept like babies.
Perfect
