I planned to go from my work planet fitness to my workout planet fitness last night, but I ended up going to Crunch since I had enough time to ask about their classes before their Zumba started.
Really happy I went and got some cardio in :). The instructor was really good, and I had to hold back on the moves later in the hour because I'm not as much of the young spry chicken I like to think I am.
Knees hurt last night/today, but I stretched before I went to sleep.

Was great to have that "Caaaaan I drive past a zumba class? NOPE!" feeling again.
I might do their vinyasa Yoga tonight as a "recovery" class (that's a lie: I'm sure it will be tough in its own way lol)

^as a skin cancer survivor I like all of this except the tanning. I wish PF didn't offer it. I use their water massage tables as my motivator. :)
Totally understandable. Crunch and Retro offer it too, but I completely forgot about the hydromassage bed! It's not offered at the PF I work at, but it is at the one I work Out at haha. I have yet to try it.
As per the tanning, I cringe a bit watching the gym members who go in once every day and the ones who go without any lotion etc. It's not healthy to begin with, but those things make it less so. Someone from another state asked if we have that "no more than once a day" law in NJ and laughed at how we do.. like ..uh.. thats a GOOD thing .

Revelation: Vinyasa yoga is tough and hurts my wrists and feets lol.
Don't know if "recovery" was the right word haha, but it was good. Will debate if I go to more, or just try the less-painful poses at home.

I'm still struggling with that. How did you do it?! I have many fidget toys and they do work, but the second I'm away from any of them, my nails are left to be bitten.

keeping them painted (because the quick dry top coat tastes absolutely horrible) and carrying a nail file everywhere so that I don't feel the need to even them out with my teeth once one of them snags on something... I cannot STAND to have a rough bit of my nails and that's usually what starts me biting them again, so as long as I can keep them smooth all is good... though I've LICKED my nail tips a few times out of impulse and felt like a real weirdo

no wonder I ended up with a cold

Loving the activity here!

I just defeated my first quest monster, pretty stoked about getting higher level enough to do more, so I created some hard to-do's in habitica to tackle. :)

Quinoa salad for lunch and dinner with some homemade fried chicken tenders that are to die for. Definitely want a small kitchen fryer now that I've seen how much better they are than trying to fry stuff on my own.

Need to stop drinking so much coffee. Didn't drink more than one cup per day until a few weeks ago. I've got trouble falling asleep at night and I'm always incredibly tired the next day, then I drink a few cups of coffee and can't fall asleep again. And it's not like I drink anything past 2pm, so I don't know if the caffeine even has anything to do with it. But I feel like 3 cups is too much.

I also need to take my medication more regularly. I've got to take several kinds of pills, drops 3x per day and some kind of powder and I never manage to take all of them.

I just checked out Habitica and it seems helpful. I'm preparing to the exam and that's when I have difficulty with keeping healthy habits (especially problem with eating healthy and enough).
My daily tasks include: at least 4 meals, daily study plan, meeting with somebody/at least talking with somebody on phone, not getting angry at work because of my supervisor. And I pointed healthy and not healthy habits... and my study reviews... and I'm already half-dead:laugh:
Maybe it will motivate me.

Trying to decide if I should leave my Habitica team and join a new one. My bestie and her sister kind of suck. :sadbanana:

I am getting most of my XP from creative work I had been avoiding for a while. The effects have been revealing. It's motivated me to seek a support system that I didn't care to have before.

I've gotta put creative stuffs on my daily as well. Right now, it'll be easy xp, but it'll also help me not slip.

Ohh maaaan you got everyone on that habitica train!! Me as well, I cannot get enough!

I was all depressed, moping in bed like "Ohh poor kyu, cant go to work, cant be a nurse yet, wah wah wah.." then I was like "Well fuck, I might as well play a game.. a game of THRON--I mean LIFE!!" and I knocked out my taxes to-do, which gave me a REALLY sweet fuckin' level up, aaaand my tax return was like boss-level awesome so it turns out I will definitely be able to make up some deficits in my income with that alone! Meaning I am perfectly on schedule as of right now, with just 2 days of over time to make up this year sometime. Habitica saved my mopey sanity and turned it into get up and do all the things!

So today I'm doing just that again! Knocking out projects, dusting off the ole to-do list to help out with another Basi-List, and feeling good in the process.

More Quinoa salad for meals, plus some fried chicken tenders I made from scratch.

Irish goodbye? Or, you can make a guild! That way you can be part of their 'guild' with them but the party is separate.
