Did a small Tabata work out the other evening, and was surprised how sore I could get from 10 minute work outs. I think those really are an important part of a work out day... just.. 100% balls-to-the-wall dont-worry-about-making-it-through-all-the-way thing.
Fitness Marshall looks pretty fun actually!

Thinking I might jam out to that a bit today after my work out
I've had some pretty vague goals so far.. "Do this for a while" "do this set up for a while"... I think now I want to put some more specific goals in:
- Stay hydrated:
1 large cup of iced tea (recipe in my cook book now) in the mornings when I wake up + 1 cup hot tea with breakfast
4 hospital cups of water each work shift, or
2 of my large cups of water on my days off with each of my meals.
Keep bottled water in my car and try to drink 1/2 bottle each drive I take.
This one is probably the most important to me because of my issues with headaches and chronic slight hypotension.
- Keep up my semi-healthy eating:
Ever since I got my bento boxes from Japan it's been a bit easier to eat Japanese-style.. I'm slowly transitioning into it.
Keep up my green smoothies + a piece of fruit + cereal or oats + a boiled egg ooorrrr greek yogurt for breakfasts
Bento box meals for work (I already packed all of them for this week! yay day off!) + a tupperware of salad.
Sandwiches for lunch this week because they're cold and easy to make
Celery sticks and ranch yogurt dressing, pistachios, and onigiri with tuna salad and furikake for snacks
- Keep moving:
Before I left I was doing stretches on each shift. I need to continue that trend now.
Short work outs for the next two weeks, nothing over 30 minutes, but everyday with stretching yoga being the rest day. We have a lot of stuff to get done, and I will be doing a lot of light manual labor to get it done. After I get used to moving around again I can start up with my 45m-1hr long workouts 3-4 days a week again.
Hip/glute strengthening exercises and at least 10 minutes of stretching each day as well.. After 2 weeks I can bump up the stretching again.
-Remember to take my medicine everyday @_@ I'm terrible about thinking I've done it when I haven't. I dunno how old people do it. It's literally just an allergy pill + vitamin D and K.
Looks pretty good to me!
