Reserve Purposes

I often think that I'd rather die than live. Not that life is particularly hard or anything, it's just that I'm lazy. Living requires effort. Death requires none. When I compare the two, death is the more appealing one because I currently have no way to factor in the positive stuff that only life can offer. The reason that life seems like nothing but a monumental chore to me is that nothing really means anything to me. Nothing big, anyway. There are some smaller things are good enough to distract me sometimes. For now, I'll just have to consider these things as reserve purposes, and I'll have to stop myself from thinking too much beyond that. If I feel like I'm working, I'll want to stab myself in the eye with a fork. If I introduce some experimentation while I work, it will change my perspective, and I'll be having too much fun to realize that I'm exuding effort.

Reserve Purposes:

to dance.
to play music.
to make someone laugh.
to create something.
to experiment and discover.

Those things aren't nearly enough when it comes to the big picture, but they may help me out until I find something bigger to care about. They might even lead me straight to it. At this point, nothing has ever been important enough to make sacrifices for or to commit myself to. Usually, five minutes of slight discomfort is enough to turn me away from anything.
