I feel like Beaker would be too scared to hang out with Vigo, unless Vigo was paying him somehow.

That's the old pepper kid, right over the plate. Now imagine a muppet version of ghost busters 2 where Bunson in playing Vigo and beaker is playing Yanosh. Fozzy is Ray, Gonzo is Egan, Rizzo is Venkman, Rolf is Winston, the rest of the cast is the same as the film. Except Sam the Eagle is the mayor.

Kermit doesnt work as Ray because he would never chose the traveller, his mind is too disciplined. Rolf would never be disrespectful even in jest, because he's secure in his musical talents, and he'll beleive anything you want if there's a steady paycheck in it. Fozzy is Ray because Rizzo could talk him into refinancing his nana's home to pursue a fly by night and very environmentally unsound, and ethically dubious business monopoly on ghost busting. Also the Stay Puft Marshmallow man is Sweetums in a fat costume.

And yes, they would have to change Rolf to be more sarcastic, but I feel like it's not that big of a leap. Muppet Ghostbusters could be emphasized to be a production the Muppets are in involved in, which would make clear why Rolf had a different personality.

Yeah, Rolf is laid-back and typically positive no matter the situation. He's so chill. He'll make jokes but they're never snide ones or mean-spirited.

I tried to watch the newest Ghostbusters flick (Frozen Empire?) I got an hour in, then that's where I stopped a few weeks ago. I don't know if I'll ever finish it. It is a film that deserved a lot more whittling down, it's just way too long for the subject matter and the pace is too slow.

Gargoyles really was ahead of its time. Even watching it today, it still captures my imagination and inspires creativity in my own life. I often think of this show as inspiration for my Chronicles of Darkness games. The blending of folklore and post bronze age history. The characters are well written. Elisa Maza a native american female detective who can hold her own against monsters and magic. David Xanatos being the only actually likeable billionaire villain ever. The tragedy of Macbeth, Demona and Goliath's love. the TNG voice casting plus Keith David. The animation looks good, realistic, a cartoon that didnt act like a cartoon.

I figured out where I know Air Supply from. It was the South Park episode "Raisins." This is the one where Wendy broke up with Stan, which I think was permanent. Raisins is a restaurant that is a parody of Hooters. This episode has some good satirical jabs at both conformist nonconformists as well as dopey guys who will do anything simply because a woman flirts with them. The ending is great, too. The message in this one is very solid. 10/10

Dang, I'm old. Their best songs were being played at my middle-school dances when they were current.
