I woke up at 4:30 this morning, because my fan went off ( i can't sleep without it on). Apparently our electricity went out, and it was storming quite badly. I freaked out when i heard the tornado alarms sounding. I wanted to look out the window, but i know that is the last thing you are supposed to do.

Mike was more scared than i was, he is such a little baby when it comes to storms, which is actually sort of cute. I was a bit worried once i heard the tornado alarms sound, however i remained calm so that Brady and Mike could be as calm as possible. We all got in the bedroom closet and put pillows over our heads. Once we heard something that sounded like a freight train coming, we knew the tornado was near, after about 2 minutes the wind had stopped and it just began to rain. I looked outside and it really looked like a tornado had gone right through the parking lot.

I was going to take pictures of all the storm damage, but by the time i actually woke up, the apartment crew had already cleaned most of it up. There is still a big dent in one of the carports though.

Mike said that on his way to work he could see a lot of storm damage. I'm super glad our apartment didn't get hit, because it definitely hit our covered parking area.

Brady was a brave little man, he would jump when he heard thunder, and then he would just lay his sweet little head back down on my chest and play with my hair. He makes life worth living.:wubbie:

Woah. Where do you live?

At least it didn't get any worse. We had thunderstorms last summer, but no one died (luckily). A tornado would have creamed us Canadians. We did have a pretty bad blizzard this year, in January or February.

I live in North Texas, right down tornado alley.
I'm used to pretty bad storms by now!
I wish we could have a blizzard though!
