  • Your score for openness was 60%. This is in the moderate range.

Because your score is in the midrange, it is likely that you do not stand out as either a particularly imaginative, nor a particularly conservative person. You probably do not consider yourself to be particularly creative or unconventional. You probably also do not appear especially conservative or narrow in your interests.

  • Your score for Conscientiousness was high, at 75%.

Because you are high in Conscientiousness, you are probably orderly and organized. You probably consider yourself very reliable and responsible. You do not mind hard work and are persistent in pursuing your goals.

People high in Conscientiousness are more likely to be successful in their careers and less likely to develop addictions of all kinds. They have high levels of self-control and are good at resisting impulses. They usually have neat, organized homes and orderly, well-planned lives.

  • Your score for Extraversion was high, at 62.5%.

Because you are high in Extraversion, you probably appear to be friendly and gregarious to other people. You show enthusiasm easily and are generally energetic. You are interested in having adventures and achieving many things in your life.

People who are high in extraversion are more likely to have many friends and an active social life. They tend to work hard to achieve power and prestige and get a special thrill from going after rewards such as money, status, or attention from others.

  • Your score for Agreeableness was low, at 50%.

People who are low in Agreeableness tend to experience less empathy and put their own concerns ahead of others. Low scorers are often described as hostile, competitive, and antagonistic. They tend to have more conflictual relationships and often have conflicts with people.

Your low score in Agreeableness indicates that you put your own needs first most of the time. You may see other people as a threat to your ability to get what you want, and you often suspect ulterior motives in others. You are mostly unwilling to sacrifice your own needs in the service of other people.

  • Your score for Neuroticism was high, at 73%.

High Neuroticism scorers seem to react more strongly to situations and events that have the potential to provoke negative emotions. For instance, they would be more likely to feel threatened by a stranger passing on the street, or to interpret a comment from a colleague as an insult. High Neuroticism people have emotional systems that are on high alert, looking for danger and peril at every turn.

People high in Neuroticism are also more likely to doubt themselves and their abilities. They often feel personally responsible for their own bad luck, and feel a sense of shame when things don’t turn out the way they’d like.

While Neuroticism is not generally thought of as an asset, there are positive points. People high in Neuroticism are unlikely to overlook the perils of life, and tend to be realistic about the problems and limitations in the world. There is also some evidence that Neuroticism can push people to higher levels of achievement, provided they are generally well-adjusted. It seems the fear of failure can provide an important source of motivation.

Except for that part.

PS: If it helps my neurosis is fairly well managed, but I'm a "in small doses" kind of person, which is why I've never been successful at any relationships. My nature as it comes across here is inaccurate to my nature in real situations, involving real pressures and risks.

I suppose that's obvious really, but I like to put out public announcement warnings.

I don't see a lot of differences between intuition and openness. May be the only difference is that the former gives the definition in terms of human mind, while the latter, how it's manifested.
Intuition gives outlook and insight; it revels in the garden of magical possibilities as if they were real. [“The Psychology of the Transference,” CW 16, par. 492.]
The first is a perception of unconscious psychic data originating in the subject, the second is a perception of data dependent on subliminal perceptions of the object and on the feelings and thoughts they evoke. [Ibid., par. 771.]
Truity:
Openness describes a person’s tendency to think in abstract, complex ways. High scorers tend to be creative, adventurous, and intellectual. They enjoy playing with ideas and discovering novel experiences. Low scorers tend to be practical, conventional, and focused on the concrete. They tend to avoid the unknown and follow traditional ways.

Openness is strongly related to a person’s interest in art and culture. People who are high in openness tend to enjoy the arts and seek out unusual, complex forms of self-expression.
Outofservice:
High scorers tend to be original, creative, curious, complex; Low scorers tend to be conventional, down to earth, narrow interests, uncreative.
Where do these two diverge? I can't see it.

..... Messy scores, I guess not super far off? This test seems to make me out to be more polarized on each of the categories than I reasonably am (although E is probably not that far off tbh)

Oh well, what the heck ever...here we go

Openness to experience: 16th percentile = You prefer traditional and familiar experiences.

Conscientiousness: 52th percentile = You are neither organized nor disorganized

Extraversion: 53rd percentile = You are neither particularly social nor reserved. (They should have said NOR not OR!)

Agreeableness = 32nd percentile = You find it easy to express irritation with others.

Neuroticism = 66th percentile = You tend to become anxious or nervous.

Hmm what does that mean? What's the type of a neurotic, traditional curmudgeon?

This score would line up most with xSTx and, if we are not accounting for how close to center scores are, ESTJ

Nonetheless I wouldn't take it too seriously, this test is a bit iffy in the way it scores things

O - 95 (open)
C - 5 (disorganized)
E - 47 (ambiverted)
A - 7 (disagreeable)
N - 95 (emotionally high strung lunatic)

Nervous/anxious questions always throw me off. I don't worry about people or their trustworthiness, I worry about my contentedness and tend to desire more or different, and I'm def temperamental. Basically, I'm neurotic, but not in a generalized anxiety disorder or paranoid way, more just a mopey, grumpy dissatisfied "what is missing from my life" sorta way.

These results correlate to xNxP, with the low agreeableness of a thinker and the high neuroticism of a feeler. Given the extreme preference for openness and extreme lack of organization, and the essentially ambiverted nature, plus traits of both T and F in higher amounts, this suggests functional preference something along the lines of:
Ne - F - T - Si
or
Ne - T - F - Si

Without a doubt though: xNxP

I can get drastically different scores, particularly on Conscientiousness, depending on the test. Some word the questions extremely poorly.
