I loved Seinfeld. At least the show. Still quote it to this day. Man-hands. Close talker. Soup nazi. etc. <3

Seinfeld: Meh.

Larry David: Yay.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is fuxing fantastic.
Arrested development, and a bunch of other shows.

I find all the other characters in Seinfeld VERY enjoyable, except Seinfeld himself. I really don't like him.

I LOVE comedies.

To clarify, when I said Seinfeld I meant specifically Jerry and his standup. I do like the show, though I think Curb is even better.

i see myself as a hybrid of Meatwad and Frylock.
I think Meatwad brings the IP and Frylock brings the NT to that show. Shake is pure SF.

Carl might be a super exaggerated version of how a lot of SPs might come across to NTs.

Oh wow, this is a really good point about Carl.

I also really like Comedy Bang Bang. Both the show and the podcast.

Also... this choice is divisve (understandably so), but Tim and Eric Awesome Show. This is one of the more accessible bits.

Emulates cassette futurism (which I adore) perfectly. Reminds me of all the steps me dad had to go to set up the Radioshack Tandy computer on the little TV in my parent's bedroom, and how exciting it was. It doesn't hurt that the dad in this resembles my dad a little.

I don't find stand up all that amusing anymore. I tend to like situational comedy more.

It isn't that I dislike standup, I just have to be in the right mood for a full session of it I guess.

i have a high bar when it comes to stand up; most doesn't make me laugh or elicits a minor chuckle at best. stand-ups who can leave me in tears with genuine laughter are few and far between. also hearing the same bit repeatedly, even if hilarious the 1st time, i never laugh as hard or unexpectedly as that special first time hearing it.

generally i prefer off-kilter sketch and improv style stuff more when it comes to live comedy

If all you've watched is American comedy, remember that it's saturated with sensationalism and politics, lots of which is regurgitated. My recommendation is to try British standup and panel shows. It prides itself on riffing.

Sarah Millican is wonderful. Full of anecdotes, not a man-hater, and a bit dirty, but in a proper working class gal kind of way.

UK Taskmaster (the original) has everything you need. The American version was a flop due to their agenda to squeeze politics into everything, so stay clear of that.

And then you have Would I Lie To You.

And one of my favorite sketches from That Mitchell and Webb Look.

Speaking of ATHF and MBTI, I think of Oglethorpe the Plutonian as an ENTJ. (He's the orange one):
