Fireworks are going off somewhere in my neighborhood, why is it that people cannot just wait for the 4th?
Today is a day off for me and I've honestly kind of wasted it indulging my doubt about being INFJ, and trying to figure out what else I might be. When I first took the MBTI, I had little to no interest in it and was mostly focused on the Enneagram. I had never read descriptions of the types or anything about the functions. The results pinned me as INFJ and I didn't really think about it. Several months later, after obsessively learning about the Enneagram in depth I started realizing that Myers Briggs could be fascinating too. So back I went to my INFJ description to decide if I had been accurately typed. After having absolutely no doubts about my Enneagram type, feeling undecided was weird for me (and still is). At this point in time, I think my possible types are INFJ, INTJ or INFP. The last would surprise me because I'm a super judgmental person, to be without the J would be just inaccurate.
I made the mistake a couple of hours ago to watch YouTube videos of supposed INFJ's, which actually made things worse. The women I saw were far more bubbly, open and focused on helping people than I am. Don't get me wrong, I do like to help people but I also have firm boundaries, and oh yeah-- I'm an introvert! The more I thought about it though, I do volunteer with two youth ministries IRL and tend to have a soft spot for broken people (because I can relate). Ack. Maybe I should do this healthy-Four-goes-organized-One List style.
Qualms I have w/ INFJ

Qualms I have w/ INFJ
- I'm not emotionally effected by other's emotions. I feel for them, I just don't break down with them.
- I like to help people, but my end goal/profession doesn't revolve around helping others.
- I have no trouble
throwing downarguing with anyone if I believe my stance to be true and important. (I will say so immediately if I realize I'm wrong though).
