Sooo today is the 10th day in a row its fucking raining here. My INTJ is all kinds of grumbling and suffering from cabin fever. On top of that, his parents have come home and the place, big as it is..is feeling a bit claustrophobic.

Meanwhile I've been feeling the urge at night to go out while it stops raining temporarily and wander the streets. This time, I figured, I'd drag Mister Grumpy with me and relive my teenage years

I drag him out of the house, we get to this abandoned playground, and I'd just gotten him comfy on a blanket when...one of my cats runs up to me to cuddle. Two minutes later, my black one meows at me. I turn around, and hear mewing from my hand-raised kitten, standing cluelessly in the middle of the road, coz she heard my voice and came running.

I figure I try again, and walk with my sweety down the road, looking for a quiet corner to make out in..only to be chaperoned by 4 cats. Yes, four. And boy were they loud.

At that point, I gave up. There was no way we were going to get in the mood, find a quiet spot and not wake up the neighborhood with 4 mewing kittens around.

They've been doing this more and more, where I'm escorted the very few times that I leave the house to the shop on the corner, or when I'm hanging up my laundry in the garden. But this was beyond ridiculous. At first my INTJ was amused..but in the end, he ended up more grumpy than he was.

I dunno whether to laugh or cry at the ridiculousness of the situation.

I'm literally owned by 6 cats. Wherever I go. :ninja:

It was a cute idea, but...oh, the woes of being a Catlady.

A dog which could serve as an alert dog and keep the cats away temporarily might be a good solution here. :D

No need to be dismayed by the constant rain. It's fun to enjoy being outside in the rain. Wear a rain jacket if you fear melting. :D Contrary to what many seem to believe, I think rain is not nature crying, it is Nature nurturing. :)
