Apparently, the average person says 7000 words a day. You Speak (at Least) 7,000 Words a Day. Here's How to Make Them Count.
That surprised me, but I'm also an introvert and am not working at the moment. At school, I could easily speak 10 words or less in a day(besides online interactions). If I had a no class day I could easily hang out in my dorm room avoiding humans, with my main words spoken being "Thank yous" when I came out for meals. At home I'm still the quiet one, but I'm a little less awkward around my family so probably about 100, 200 words at the most.
What do you think? How many words do you say on the average day?
